Edit photos and layered documents directly in Chrome with Photo & PSD Editor. Click the extension icon to open the full editor in a tab, then choose or drop a file from your device. Crop, resize and rotate images. Paint and retouch, make selections, create and organize layers, add editable text, adjust colors and apply filters. Use undo and redo while you work. Open layered PSD files and save layered work as PSD or native project files. Export finished images in common formats, including PNG, JPEG and WebP. The editor works offline: application code and bundled assets are included in the extension. No account or uploads are required. Your images and document content are processed on your device. The extension requests no browser or website permissions and includes no advertising or analytics. This extension provides the existing web editor's capabilities. PSD compatibility varies by feature; complete Photoshop compatibility is not guaranteed. Desktop-only services, such as folder exports and native printing, are unavailable. Large files are constrained by browser memory. Open documents are backed up locally so refreshing the same editor tab can restore layers and editable text. The status bar shows when a draft is saved locally. Keep downloaded files as separate copies: pending or failed backups and cleared browser storage can prevent recovery. Undo history starts again after recovery.
