Overview

Find in-stock filament variants across eBay search results and compare listing variations.

Find the filament variant you want without opening every eBay listing or checking each option individually. eBay Filament Finder helps you compare 3D printing filament variants across search results and within individual product listings. It works on eBay.co.uk and eBay.com, with results displayed in a convenient Chrome side panel. What’s new in version 1.1 • Compare effective costs with the new sortable Price per spool column. • Recognise “Buy X Pay Y”, “Buy X Save Z%”, “Buy X Get V Free”, and eBay’s variant-specific multi-buy pricing. • Include recognised eBay coupon percentages in Total and per-spool estimates, with postage added after discounts. • See required purchase quantities, including whether spools must be identical. • Apply filters with a button or Enter, without changing results while typing. • Enjoy faster filtering, smoother scan updates, and a sidebar that retains your search when selecting variants. • Remember your preferred sorting, with listings grouped by title when prices match. • Collapse results to focus on failed listings. • Automatically retry scan errors after a short pause, temporarily using one request at a time. • Revisit these release notes by right-clicking the extension icon and choosing “What’s new”. Offer prices are experimental estimates. Check coupon conditions, purchase quantities, delivery charges and final prices on eBay before buying. COMPARE ACROSS SEARCH RESULTS • Scan listings from the current eBay search results page. • Find matching in-stock variants across checked listings. • Filter variants by keywords, such as material or colour—for example, “ASA yellow”. • Filter listing titles by brand or other terms. • Sort results by listing, variant or total price. • Open matching listings directly from the results. EXPLORE AN INDIVIDUAL LISTING • View the listing’s variants and prices together in a table. • Filter variants to quickly find the options you want. • Sort by variant name or total price. • See out-of-stock options clearly marked. • Select an available variant from the table to update the options on the eBay listing. HOW TO USE Open an eBay search results page or an individual product listing, then click the extension icon to open the side panel. On search results, click “Scan page”. On an individual listing, use the variant table to filter, compare and select options. Prices, postage and availability depend on the information provided by eBay and may change. Always confirm the selected variant and final total on eBay before purchasing. eBay Filament Finder is an independent extension and is not affiliated with or endorsed by eBay.
