Cadence - LeetCode Attempt Stopwatch
Overview
Records measured time in LeetCode notes, with voluntary practice comments and recoverable editor clearing.
Cadence helps you practise LeetCode with an attempt record you can review later. - Records elapsed time in submission notes for failed attempts, preserving existing time and manual notes. Accepted notes are left untouched. A foreground-aware fallback clock is available when LeetCode's native stopwatch is unavailable. - Clears the editor when you reopen a solved problem, saving a local recovery copy first. Turn clearing off, change its scope, or exclude individual problems in Settings. - Adds structured practice comments for your plan, complexity, verification and voluntary descriptions of help received. New practice starts local editor context; Insert template adds comments without starting a practice. New comments and automatic notes contain no hint snapshots or practice/request identifiers. The extension does not observe hints or track Run attempts. - Preserves authored code when starting another practice, with guarded Undo and bounded recovery copies. Recovery is not a complete code history. - Expands /lcn for a new problem, /lcr for a re-solve and /lcb for a blank bug log on an empty code line. Shortcuts work without an imported registry. Conflicting local practice state requires your choice in Cadence notes. - Prepares comments automatically on empty code or a verified native starter when preparation context is available. A matching prior Accepted in the same language can suggest a re-solve. Turn this independent setting off to use manual actions and shortcuts. Unknown history keeps template selection manual. Preparation does not evaluate or register a practice. - Follows your device appearance, with Light and Dark overrides. Fonts ship with the extension. - Optionally imports a local Cadence practice registry, displaying its date and revision. No personal practice history is bundled. Runs on LeetCode problem pages. Uses your existing LeetCode session to read and update submission notes and preparation context directly over HTTPS. Recovery copies and imported registries stay in local extension storage; settings and exclusions use Chrome Sync when available. No developer backend, ads or analytics. Does not submit solutions or read AI assistant conversations. LeetCode changes, authentication or network failures can prevent note updates or editor resets. Pending notes, including historical queued updates, are preserved for retry. Reset and recovery status appears in Settings. The separate Cadence evaluator is not part of this extension.
