The extension failed in achieve the functionality of switching to the edit screen of the current page/post. It simply redirects to the Home of the admin panel.

Loved it! Can you also add option to define custom admin urls? E.g. if my admin URI is /login instead of /wp-admin. This extension fails in that scenario!
