Everything you clip goes into your TaskNote account (task-note.com) and is encrypted in your browser before it syncs, so the server only ever sees ciphertext. How it works • Sign in to task-note.com once; the extension picks up your session, no separate login. • Select text on a page and click the TaskNote icon, or use the popup to save the current page. • Choose a notebook, add a title, save. The note appears in TaskNote on every device. What it does not do • It does not read pages you are not clipping. The selection helper only runs when you select text, and only what you selected is sent. • It does not collect browsing history, analytics or any data beyond the clip you chose to save.
