Overview
Save English words and sentences as you read. Review them in the side panel.
Gleaner helps you learn English while you browse. Select a word, phrase, or sentence on any page. Gleaner looks up a short definition, lets you save it with the page context, and keeps everything in a side panel for later review. You can export cards to Anki when you are ready. What you can do • Save words, phrases, and sentences from the page you are reading • Look up common English meanings from a bundled offline dictionary (fast and works without a network hit) • Fall back to Wiktionary / Datamuse, and Wikipedia summaries for many names and places • See phonetics, examples, and origin when available • Choose English-only, bilingual, or native-gloss display • Show a native gloss from an offline pack when available (ZH/JA/KO/DE/FR/ES/PT/AR/RU); otherwise machine translation • Review and search your cards in the side panel • Export to Anki, including audio for word cards when available • Optionally sign in with Google to sync cards across devices Privacy Gleaner stores your cards on your device by default. Sign-in and sync are optional. Common lookups stay on-device; when a network lookup or translation is needed, only the selected text is sent. We do not sell your data.
