Chrome Show Tab Numbers

Best version of this that exists (I've tried a few, but this is the most consistent and responsive)

Not intuitive. Did not work . Is there any help document for this?

Works great. But I wish it shows the tab number in the blank tabs and browser related tabs like History, Downloads, Settings...

Doesn't renumber open tabs as you close others that I can see. Don't see any options for this either. Also leaves some tabs unnumbered for what reason I don't know.

This is awesome, but I think this would be really cool if the numbers only displayed when you held Ctrl. I wonder how feasible it would be to have options to type an arbitrary number and switch to the tab when you release Ctrl. Even though I have only 10 tabs open, there's no way to cycle to tab 9 because 9 always puts you at the end. As a tab hoarder this would help me out a lot haha.

I was looking for a extension which supports tabs groups and this works excellent!

nice extension helps a lot but doesnt support pdf tabs when opened in chrome

Nice and simple, open-source, and works with collapsed tab groups too.
