FocusLock helps you take back control of your time on social media and other distracting websites — and makes it deliberately harder to cheat on yourself. Most blockers fail at the moment you need them: you just turn them off. FocusLock adds friction to exactly that moment. SET YOUR OWN RULES - Daily limit — e.g. 60 minutes per day, resets at midnight - Hourly limit — e.g. 20 minutes per hour - Use → cooldown — e.g. use for 15 minutes, then blocked for 30 - Scheduled block — e.g. weekdays 09:00–17:00, or overnight 23:00–08:00 - Complete block — always blocked - Warning only — a gentle on-page warning instead of a block Works on YouTube, X/Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, or any website or page you add. SEE WHERE YOUR TIME GOES Your usage is tracked while you actively use a site you've set a rule for. The dashboard shows today's split by site, hourly usage, history, and trends. Each rule has a live "health bar" showing how much of your limit is left, and your target streaks grow as you keep your rules on. MAKE IMPULSIVE CHANGES HARD - Pausing, editing or deleting a rule takes a 30-second countdown and a confirmation - Lock a rule with a time delay or a typed phrase you can't copy and paste - "Lock all rules" freezes every rule for a set number of hours - Resuming a rule is always instant — only weakening a rule is slowed down PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything is stored on your device. No account, no servers, no analytics, no data leaves your browser. HONEST ABOUT LIMITS FocusLock adds friction, it doesn't make bypassing impossible. You can still disable or uninstall the extension, or use another browser or device. To cover Incognito windows, turn on "Allow in Incognito" for FocusLock in chrome://extensions.
