Overview

Save the current page as a true PDF — selectable text, real links, full page. Not a screenshot.

Ever tried "save webpage as PDF" and got back a blurry screenshot instead of a document? Or watched the conversion stop halfway down a long page, with no PDF and no error? TruePage does the one thing those tools get wrong. It does not stitch screenshots together — it asks Chrome itself for a real PDF of the page, using the same engine Chrome uses when you print. WHAT YOU GET • The whole page, not just what fits on your screen — TruePage scrolls to the bottom first, so lazy-loaded content is captured too • Real text, not a picture of text — select it, search it, copy it • Real links that still work inside the PDF • The desktop layout, not the mobile one • Works on pages you are signed in to: it captures what you are already looking at, nothing is re-fetched from a server • A clear message when a page genuinely cannot be converted — never a silent failure TWO MODES Full page keeps everything, images included. Text only drops images, video and embedded players: in our tests a news homepage went from 62.7 MB to 13.5 MB. The file size is shown the moment the PDF is saved, so you always know what you got. PRIVACY No account, no sign-up, no password. The conversion makes no network request at all — nothing about the page you convert is sent anywhere, the PDF is produced locally by Chrome's own engine. The only moment TruePage contacts a server is when you activate a Pro licence, once, to check the key with Polar. Chrome shows its own "this extension is debugging the browser" notice while TruePage works. That is Chrome's safeguard around the API that makes a real PDF possible — not something TruePage can hide, or wants to. PRICING Installing TruePage is free and includes 4 conversions, so you can check it works on your own pages before paying anything. They do not expire and do not renew. After that, unlimited conversions cost $14.99 (€12.99 / £10.99) once. This is a one-time payment, not a subscription: nothing renews, nothing is charged again. One licence activates on up to 3 devices, and you can move it between devices yourself. Payment is handled by Polar, our merchant of record, who is the seller for this transaction. Your licence key arrives by email; paste it into the extension to unlock.
