Ancestry DNA results can come with a lot of regions, and it can be hard to tell which ones actually matter. Some of them are so small and uncertain that they're really just statistical noise. Ancestry Remix cuts through that clutter so your breakdown is more accurate and easier to understand. Here's what it does: - Removes noisy regions that clutter your results - Recalculates your percentages for a more accurate picture - Does the same cleanup on your matches' ethnicity pages The recalculations are based on a custom algorithm that uses each region's confidence range to decide what's real and what's just noise. How it works: - Your own ethnicity page is recalculated automatically. - On match pages, the same cleanup is applied. If a match only shares in-common regions with you, Remix leaves their results as-is and shows a short note explaining why.
