Pin your preferred AI model on Perplexity.ai — never get reset again.

PerplexPin keeps your preferred AI model locked in on Perplexity.ai and Comet browser — no more surprise resets. Perplexity.ai tends to silently switch your selected AI model (Claude, GPT, Grok, etc.) back to a default after page reloads or navigations. PerplexPin fixes this by injecting a lightweight guard that persists your model choice across page loads, including in the Sidecar sidebar assistant. How to use: 1. Click the PerplexPin extension icon → Copy Script 2. Open Perplexity.ai → press F12 → Console tab 3. Paste & run — pick your model from the popup 4. Done — your choice sticks across page loads Features: - Pin any AI model (Claude, GPT, Grok, and more) - Optional Thinking mode toggle - Works in both main search and Sidecar sidebar - Persists across page reloads and navigations - Self-healing: automatically re-injects if overwritten - Zero runtime extension APIs — fully unblockable To switch models later, just paste the script again.
