PermissionPilot helps you review and manage privacy-related settings that websites may leave in your browser. When you choose to scan the current website, PermissionPilot checks its browser permissions and looks for common cookie-consent signals. The results are presented in a clear dashboard with an easy-to-understand risk level and an explanation of what contributed to it. Review site privacy settings • See whether a website is allowed to use your camera, microphone, location, notifications, clipboard, pop-ups, automatic downloads, or sound. • Identify common consent-management signals used by websites. • View available summary information about consented purposes and vendors when the website exposes compatible consent data. • Understand why a website received a particular privacy risk level. Manage access • Revoke privacy-sensitive permissions that are currently allowed. • Remove supported consent cookies and locally stored consent settings. • Clear broader site data after reviewing an explicit warning. • Select and manage multiple previously scanned websites. • Search, filter, export, import, or delete your local audit records. Private and user-controlled PermissionPilot does not continuously monitor your browsing. A website is scanned only after you explicitly request it. All audit records and settings are stored locally in your Chrome profile. PermissionPilot does not use an account, analytics, advertising, external servers, or remotely hosted code. The extension does not intentionally save cookie values, passwords, form entries, page messages, or your complete browsing history. Important information The displayed risk level is an explanatory estimate based on detected permissions and consent signals. It is not a legal, security, or compliance certification. Websites use many different consent systems, so some settings may not be detected or may be shown as unknown. Removing cookies or site data may sign you out of a website and reset saved preferences.
