Perchside is a Claude extension that tracks your Claude usage limit, exports your chats to PDF or Markdown, and adds wallpapers and themes to claude.ai. We've all been there before. You're deep in a conversation and suddenly: "You've reached your limit." The chat you need is stuck inside claude.ai with no easy way to save it, your music is in another tab, and a "quick" YouTube break just turned into forty minutes. Install Perchside and open claude.ai. Your session and weekly usage appear as two rings beside the chat, and the Perchside icon shows them from any tab. How do I export a Claude chat to PDF? Open the chat, open Perchside's Export tab and press PDF. A clean print page opens; choose Save as PDF. Can I change the claude.ai background? Yes. In Settings → Images, choose a picture for the chat and the sidebar, then set how strong it is. Does Perchside have a Matrix-style or ASCII background for Claude? Yes. Binary Rain is on from the moment you install, behind the chat and the sidebar. Your settings, pictures and history stay in your browser. Usage is read from claude.ai on your computer; on the free plan, Perchside reads only the usage figures at the end of each reply. Exports are built on your computer and go only to your Downloads.
