Perch
Overview
Jump to the tab that needs you — track AI chats, club tabs by site, and watch the ones you set aside. Inspired by herdr.
Perch is a fast tab navigator with a twist: it knows which of your AI chats needs you. Inspired by herdr (the terminal multiplexer for AI agents), Perch brings the same idea to your browser. ⌘⇧K — COMMAND PALETTE Fuzzy-jump to any tab, group, or AI chat from anywhere. The tabs that need you float to the top. AGENT AWARENESS Perch watches your ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini tabs and shows which is generating, done, waiting for you, or blocked — without you switching to them. Get a notification the moment a background chat finishes. CLUB TABS BY SITE Ten YouTube tabs collapse into one "youtube.com (10)" row. One click clubs them into a real tab group. Or set auto-group rules by hostname. ★ WATCHING Shared a link and lost it in the chaos? Star it. It stays pinned to the top — and because Perch remembers the URL, it reopens the page even if the tab got closed. SIDE PANEL DASHBOARD A live, at-a-glance view of every agent, group, and site cluster. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Perch runs entirely in your browser. No server, no analytics, no tracking, nothing collected. It reads AI-site pages only to detect a status word — never your conversations. Free and open source: https://github.com/utmehrotra/perch
