Perch
Overview
Sticky notes that live on the tab, not the URL. Switch pages — they stay. Close the tab — they go to Limbo.
Perch puts sticky notes on the tab itself — not on the page, not on the domain, on the actual browser tab instance. Open five tabs to the same site? Only the tab you wrote the note on has it. Navigate somewhere else in the same tab? Your note follows. That's the whole idea. **How it works** → Click the Perch icon (or press Alt+Shift+Y) to drop a note on any page → Drag it anywhere, resize from any edge, pick a color → Notes survive navigation inside the same tab → When you close the tab, notes go to Limbo — not deleted, just parked → From Limbo: restore to the current tab, reopen the original page with the notes already on it, save for later, or discard **Limbo** Closing a tab doesn't mean losing your notes. Perch moves them to a temporary holding area (Limbo) where they wait for 7 days. Each entry shows which page it came from — click "Open tab" and Perch recreates the original page with your notes already in place. **Side panel** Prefer working in a panel? Open the Perch side panel for a clean notepad view of all notes in the current tab, including the Limbo drawer. **Works with Notion, Figma, Google Docs** Notes run inside an isolated frame, so keyboard shortcuts and paste operations stay inside the note — they don't leak into the page underneath. **Privacy** Everything stays on your device. No account. No sync. No servers. No tracking. --- Perch is free. If it saves you time, consider buying the developer a coffee.
