Perch — Focus Companion
Overview
A tiny companion that sits with you while you work.
A quiet roommate lives in a window nook in your Chrome side panel. Start a timer, and they work too. Finish a sit, earn seeds, and put something on the sill — a mug, a plant, string lights. Drag it where you like. Resize it. Leave the panel open while you write, study, or ship. Perch is a desk companion. It does not block websites and it does not take over your new tab. Focus • 15, 25, or 50 minute sits • A 5-minute look-away break • Pick up a session if you stop a little early • Shortcut: Alt+Shift+P Your nook • Ten companions: cat, fox, owl, corgi, bunny, capybara, otter, frog, bear, sparrow • Seeds buy furniture you can move and resize • New nooks start with 12 seeds — enough for a mug or a memo • Finish a sit: 15 min → 9 seeds, 25 → 15, 50 → 30. Streaks add a little more • Real window weather from a city you choose (rain and snow fall on the glass) • Soft nook music, volume in Settings Quiet numbers • Today, streak, this week, all time • No account. Everything stays in this browser. Click the Perch icon to open the side panel. Weather, if you set a city, comes from Open-Meteo. Notifications are optional.
