PeRank - search results by relevance, not ads

Re-ranks search results by relevance, hides ads and sponsored results, and helps you dig past the first page. No tracking.

PeRank puts relevance back above advertising. On the results page of the major search engines it does three things: - Removes ads and sponsored results. - Re-ranks the results already on the page, in three modes you switch with one click: Original, Reverse, and Relevance (with a score badge that explains its criteria on hover). - Where the engine allows it cleanly, offers an opt-in "deep search" to go beyond the first page. PeRank works across the major search engines: it detects which one you are on and applies the right adapter automatically. The full, up-to-date list of supported engines is on the website. How it works — and what it does NOT do: PeRank works only on the results already present on the page. It makes no automatic requests and does no scraping, so it cannot get you banned or break a search engine's terms of service. Deep search is always an explicit action you take by clicking a button. Privacy: Everything stays on your device. There is no server, no analytics, no tracking. Your settings, domain votes and saved "gems" live in the browser's local storage and are never sent anywhere. The extension only requests the "storage" permission, to remember your preferences. Extra controls: - Blacklist (domains always hidden) and whitelist (domains prioritised in the score). - Per-domain votes to promote or demote sites in the relevance ranking. - A starred archive of results worth keeping. - Bilingual interface (English / Italian) with a manual language selector.
