Pepper
Overview
Categorized view of GitHub PR files: core, cosmetic, tests, migrations, docs — with optional AI summaries and guided review order.
Pepper reads pull requests with you. Pepper is FOSS: https://github.com/nimeetshah0/pepper GitHub's file list is flat and indifferent. Pepper groups every changed file by the attention it deserves: Core changes (production code whose behaviour or contract changes — this is your review), Cosmetic only (comments, formatting, renames — skim or skip), and Migrations, CI & config, Tests, Docs, AI tooling, and generated files, tidied into groups with +/- counts. A header stat shows what share of the diff is actually core code, so you know the real review size before you start. Padding collapses automatically, comment-only churn folds inside core files, and Review story walks the files that matter in order — marking each one viewed as you go, with keyboard shortcuts (j / k / v). Optional bring-your-own-key AI, off by default — without your keys, the diff never leaves your browser: per-file summaries of what changed and what to check, a PR TL;DR with a glossary of project-specific terms, and Jev double-checks on the trickiest classifications. Works on any GitHub repo, public or private, no account required.
