Dark Theme Force Maker is a tool that enforces a custom dark theme on websites that do not natively support dark mode. This extension automatically applies dark mode when the page loads and allows users to easily toggle dark mode on or off with a single button click. The default background color is set to a deep #121212, while text color is adjusted to #e0e0e0. Additionally, link and border colors are optimized for dark mode. The settings persist even after page refreshes, ensuring a consistent dark mode experience for more comfortable browsing. Two modes are available. Normal Mode is fast and lightweight, making it the perfect starting point for most websites — ideal for everyday browsing, blogs, and news sites. Ultra Mode is for sites where Normal Mode leaves some areas still looking bright, such as online stores, dashboards, or admin panels with complex layouts. It applies the dark theme more thoroughly, so no matter how stubborn a site is, everything gets covered. If you notice your browser slowing down or tabs feeling sluggish after enabling the extension, try turning on Lite Mode. It switches to a more browser-friendly processing method that reduces memory usage and CPU load — without compromising the dark theme itself. The result looks the same, just handled more gently in the background. This is especially useful if you keep many tabs open at once or are on an older or lower-spec device. Previously, switching to another tab always showed no button active, and page auto-apply on load was also silently skipped.
