Last Tab Keepalive isn't working

A few days ago it stopped working. When I close the last tab, Chrome closes.

Is this likely to be fixed soon ?

Last Tab Keepalive

I am not able to modify the default window size.

I select options and see the data fields but they can not be modified.

What am I doing wrong??

Crfashes on closing last tab

No matter if it is a blank new tab or a website. Closing the last tab gives the Whoa! Google Chrome has crashed.
