How it works Open any chat on claude.ai and click the purple Write button. Write or draw on the pad — pen, finger, or mouse. Hit Insert to place it in your message (send when ready), or Insert & send to do both in one tap. Your handwriting lands in the chat as a clean image, cropped to what you drew, and Claude responds to it like any other message.
