SpeakCoach is a Chrome extension that records your online English lesson and gives you AI feedback on pronunciation, grammar and phrasing. Your own lessons become the study material — a coach that remembers what you did last time. It records the lesson right in your browser, and 1–2 minutes after you stop, the feedback is waiting. [Works with] Online English lessons you take in a browser. Over 150 lesson sites worldwide are recognised automatically, and lessons on Google Meet and Zoom (browser version) are supported too. Using a school we don't recognise yet? Open the panel from the toolbar icon and it records on that page anyway. [During the lesson] - Today's focus and target phrases stay on screen — tick them off as you use them - Look up a word without leaving the lesson and save it (meaning, IPA, audio) Note: no live captions during the lesson. That is deliberate — reading the teacher instead of listening to them stops your ear from improving. [After the lesson, automatically] - Full transcript with timestamps (your speech; the teacher's too on services that allow recording) - Every word scored for pronunciation, with IPA and a plain explanation of what went wrong - Five-axis scoring: grammar, naturalness, vocabulary, fluency, pronunciation - One thing to focus on before your next lesson - Teacher recasts detected and highlighted (on services that allow recording) - Each note carries a confidence level, and shows the alternative reading when the call is close [The dashboard that keeps you going] - Fossilization warning: catches the same mistake repeating across sessions - Today's target phrases, offered as EASY / MID / STRETCH - Automatic tracking of how often you actually used them (3 times = learned) - CEFR estimate (B1, B2 …) with speaking rate, vocabulary range, pronunciation and fluency over time [Why not just…] - Your school's own recording feature only stores the audio.
