Overview

Your MyEpisodes schedule at a glance. Unofficial; not affiliated with or endorsed by MyEpisodes.

Monitor for MyEpisodes puts your MyEpisodes airing schedule one click away in the Chrome toolbar. UNOFFICIAL: This is an independent extension. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to MyEpisodes. It works entirely through a personal API key that you create and paste in yourself. WHAT IT DOES - A toolbar popup with four tabs: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow, and This Week. Each lists the episodes from your watchlist airing in that window. - A badge on the toolbar icon showing how many episodes air today, kept up to date in the background so the number is there before you open anything. - Every episode card shows the show, the episode number and title, the network, artwork, and your account's own Acquired and Watched state. - Mark an episode Acquired or Watched straight from the card. The change is written back to your MyEpisodes account through the same key. - "This Week" flags any show airing its very first episode as a new show. - Follows your system light/dark theme. SETUP 1. Create an API key on your MyEpisodes account (myepisodes.com/api-keys). It needs "write" scope to mark episodes; "write" includes "read", so one key does everything. 2. Open the extension's settings and paste the key in. "Test key" confirms it and saves it in one step. 3. That's it. There is no account to create with this extension and no second credential. PRIVACY - The extension has no server of its own. It talks only to api.myepisodes.com (your schedule, using your key) and api.tvmaze.com (public show artwork, no key or account info sent). - No analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. - Your API key is stored in your browser profile (Chrome settings sync) and is only ever sent to api.myepisodes.com, as an Authorization header, over HTTPS. - Your schedule is cached locally so the popup opens instantly, then refreshed. - "Remove key" in settings deletes the key and clears every cached list and the badge. Uninstalling removes everything Chrome stored for the extension. Full privacy policy: https://github.com/bdragon1901/MyEpisodes-Chrome-Extension/blob/master/privacy-policy.html PERMISSIONS USED - storage: to save your API key and cache the schedule locally. - alarms: a single timer that refreshes the today count roughly every 30 minutes. - Access to api.myepisodes.com: to read your schedule and mark episodes acquired or watched. - Access to api.tvmaze.com: to look up show artwork and network names.
