Overview

Preview a GitHub repository before you clone it.

Peephole lets you inspect and preview public GitHub repositories directly from GitHub before cloning them. Open the Peephole side panel on a repository to view repository information, detected stack, preview compatibility, and—when supported—a generated static preview. Key features: • Preview supported GitHub repositories without cloning them locally • View branch, commit, framework, package manager, and compatibility information • Open generated previews directly from the Chrome side panel • Supports public repositories with native preview support for static HTML and selected React + Vite projects • Preview builds run in an isolated server-side environment Peephole does not modify repositories. It analyzes repository information only as needed to determine whether a supported preview can be generated.
