Overview
Peel any UI element off the web. Copy Tailwind v4 classes or plain CSS.
Peel UI copies any element on a web page. You point at a button, card, nav bar, or layout. Peel reads the computed styles and puts them on your clipboard. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open the picker from the Peel icon, or press Alt+Shift+P (Command+Shift+P on Mac). 2. Hover an element. The outline shows what you will copy. 3. Click or press Enter. You get a Prompt bundle, Tailwind classes, or plain CSS for your project. Up and Down move between parent and child nodes. Esc closes the picker. WHAT YOU GET - Prompt (default): markdown with semantic tokens, source classes, theme excerpt, element tree, and Tailwind/JSX/CSS drafts for AI assistants and themed codebases. - Tailwind v4 mapping against the default scale. Values outside the scale become arbitrary classes like w-[15px]. - A CSS toggle when you want computed styles instead of utilities. - SVG placeholders in the paste ({/* SVG: Reply (22×22) */}) so inline icons stay readable. - Local library: every peel auto-saves with screenshot, colors, and searchable metadata. For frontend devs and design engineers who work in Tailwind or AI-assisted workflows. EXPORT FORMATS Prompt: semantic tokens plus code drafts for AI (default) Tailwind CSS: className strings for JSX Plain CSS: computed inline styles
