PeaSnap – Version Control for Photopea

Save named versions of your Photopea designs with Ctrl+S. Browse them with thumbnails, reopen or download any version anytime.

Photopea's History panel is gone when you close the tab, and "final_v3_REAL.psd" is not a version system. PeaSnap keeps every checkpoint you choose to save, with your note, right inside Photopea. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Save a version with a note: Ctrl+S or File > Save asks for a message and saves v1, v2, v3... • Works even when the panel is closed: a small dialog takes your note and the version is saved in the background. • See your history: the PeaSnap panel next to Layers shows every version with its thumbnail, note, time and size. • Reopen any version: it opens in a new tab ("Poster v2"), and saving from there continues the history. • Download any version as a .psd file. • Delete versions or whole documents you no longer need. • Your versions on Photopea's home page: reopen past work before opening any file. • Recognises your downloads: open a version you downloaded earlier and PeaSnap offers to continue its history. YOUR CHOICE OF CTRL+S By default Ctrl+S saves a version. In settings you can make it save a version and also run Photopea's normal Save, or leave Photopea's Save untouched and save versions only from the panel. You can also choose whether the panel opens automatically. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Everything is stored in your browser on this computer. No account, no uploads, no tracking. • PeaSnap only runs on photopea.com. • Uninstalling PeaSnap deletes its saved versions, so download anything you want to keep first. On Safari or Firefox?
