Overview
Send compatible web videos from Linux to Apple TV with a local helper. Mac support is coming soon.
FLATPAK-INSTALLED VERSIONS OF GOOGLE CHROME AND CHROMIUM ARE NOT SUPPORTED. Install Chrome using your Linux distribution’s native package format instead. PearPlay sends a compatible video stream from your browser directly to your Apple TV—without mirroring or re-encoding. Linux only. Mac support is coming soon. Requires a separate PearPlay Helper for Linux. After installing the extension, a setup tab guides you through connecting the helper. Install the helper once and connect each supported browser you use. No PearPlay account is required. Available helper packages: Ubuntu/Debian (Ubuntu 24.04 baseline, glibc 2.39+) Arch/Omarchy (glibc 2.44+) Fedora 44 x86_64 RPM is also available (glibc 2.43+) No ARM package is offered. DRM and access restrictions are not bypassed. PearPlay does not block ads.
