Pear
Overview
Clean tracking parameters from URLs in one click. Private, local-only, and safe by default.
Pear removes known tracking parameters from URLs so you can share cleaner links with less tracking attached. Open Pear on the current page to instantly see whether the URL contains known tracking parameters. If it does, Pear shows you the cleaned version before you copy or open it. Features: - Clean & Copy — remove known tracking parameters and copy the cleaned URL in one click. - Right-click link cleaning — copy or open a cleaned version of a link directly from Chrome’s context menu. - Smart detection — Pear leaves already-clean links unchanged. - Custom tracking parameters — add parameter names you want Pear to remove in addition to its built-in rules. - Skipped sites — exclude specific websites when you want their URLs left untouched. - Local stats — optionally see how many links and tracking parameters Pear has cleaned on your device. - Privacy-first design — URL processing happens locally in your browser. Private by design Pear does not require an account. There is no backend, no analytics, and no remote URL-processing service. Your settings and local usage statistics stay in Chrome's local extension storage. Pear is designed to do one thing well: remove unnecessary tracking information while preserving URL parameters that may be needed for the destination to work. Developed by Hussein Akl.
