PE Task

Internal MotionPoint tools for WebCATT & Configuration Manager: config validation, document maps, and translation diagnostics.

PE Task is an internal browser extension for MotionPoint linguists and engineers who work in WebCATT and the Configuration Manager (Monaco editor). It adds the following tools directly to those pages: Document Map — a sidebar outline of translation config files for quick navigation between sections and properties. Spell Check — flags unused or dangling local.*/master-list references in config files. Optimize Check — detects duplicate property definitions, duplicate host mappings, and stale disabled transforms in configuration files. Scope Check — validates URL scope rules against a given URL and highlights matching rule(s) in the editor. Timer Assistant — an on-page countdown/reminder tool for tracking task time. JSON Viewer — flattens, searches, and cross-references JSON structures for easier inspection. Log coloring & Document Map for log pages — highlights exceptions, redirects, and execution markers in Configuration Manager log output, with grouped/dedup navigation. Toggle/EasyLink Tester — checks a live translated page for correct Global Switch, Linkcode, and EasyLink integration. Recently Opened projects — quick-access list of recently viewed Configuration Manager projects. Keyboard shortcut — Ctrl+S commits changes without needing to click the native Save/Commit button. This extension only activates on MotionPoint's own internal domains (motionpoint.net, motionpoint.com, transmotionserver.com) and does not collect or transmit user data to third parties.
