DevLens A11y Auditor runs the industry-standard axe-core engine (bundled, offline) on the page you’re building and draws the results on the page itself, so you can see what’s wrong and where. AXE-CORE AUDIT • One-click audit of the whole page, or scope it to a selector (e.g. #main, form, a dialog) • Results grouped by impact (critical, serious, moderate, minor) with WCAG tags • For every issue: help text, the failing elements, the rule ID and a link to the rule documentation • Export the results as Markdown for a ticket or pull request VISUAL CHECKS ON THE PAGE • Tab order: numbered badges in keyboard focus sequence • Images without alt text • Form controls without a label • Semantic landmarks (header, nav, main, footer…) HEADINGS AND FOCUS • Heading outline (h1–h6) with skipped levels flagged • Live focus tracker: logs each focused element as you tab, to catch focus loss Automated checks find only part of all accessibility problems.
