Immerly — Read with the Original

Read web pages, videos, and PDFs with the original and translation together—and see the key points of long ones first.

Don't stop reading because the article or video you want is in another language. Immerly is a Chrome extension that shows the original and translation together on the screen where you read webpages, watch videos, or view PDFs. There is no need to copy text into another tab or find your place again: check the original wording and context while you keep understanding the content in its flow. Keep your reading flow - On webpages, read a sentence-by-sentence translation directly below the original text. - On supported video sites, view the video's provided original captions and translated captions together. - When a supported video has no captions, Immerly can create captions from speech where the video and browser allow it. - In PDFs, compare original text and translation side by side when the PDF has readable text. - Select a sentence or right-click it to understand it immediately in place. - View original and translation together, or show only one when you need to. See the key points first - On YouTube videos, web pages, and PDFs, tap Key points to see the main takeaway and the important details. Tap the reference next to each point to jump to that moment or paragraph. - Videos and articles that introduce several picks or rankings are organized item by item. Discussion threads also get the overall mood of the comments and the main opinions. - Key points are available after signing in: 5 per month on Free, 300 per month on Pro. Reopening a summary you already made does not use your allowance. After installation, free translation is available without signing up or adding a card. Immerly automatically chooses free translation that fits the page and language. Pro automatically applies translation that reflects longer passages' context and wording. You do not need to choose a translation engine or model. Content you read is used only for translation, captions, and key points. Immerly processes what it can directly in the browser; when server processing is needed, the content is used only while the request is being handled. The original text, translation results, visited page URLs, and original video audio are not stored on Immerly's servers. Key-point results are kept for up to 30 days so the same result can be shown again. For speech captions, only the sound segments needed for the captions are processed. Content is not used for advertising, sold, or used to train models. Please note - Video support depends on supported video sites. Protected videos can be translated when the video provides captions, but Immerly cannot create new speech captions for protected videos. - PDF translation is available for PDFs whose text can be read. - Automatic translation can contain errors. Do not use it as the sole basis for medical, legal, or financial decisions. - Key points are available for videos with captions and for web pages and PDFs with readable text. AI-generated key points can contain errors; for anything important, tap the reference and check the original.
