Galactic Library -- All your digital libraries in one place. Galactic Library helps you organize the games, software, books, comics, audiobooks, movies, and TV shows you've collected across different digital stores and services. Instead of checking a dozen different accounts to remember what you own, Galactic Library brings your collections together into one searchable, locally stored library. Import your purchases and collections, compare editions, track ownership and access, and discover where your books and comics overlap — all without creating another online account. SUPPORTED LIBRARIES Galactic Library supports importing digital collections from a variety of gaming, reading, and entertainment services, including Steam, GOG, Epic Games, Kindle, Audible, and others. It also supports selected console libraries, digital video collections, and purchases from Humble Bundle and Fanatical. Import capabilities vary by provider. Some services expose only their current web-visible libraries rather than complete historical purchase records. FEATURES • Bring your libraries together: Import and update supported digital collections from multiple providers into one searchable library, with separate records for different accounts. • Know what you own: Distinguish confirmed purchases from borrowed, subscription-based, returned, or uncertain access. Library presence alone doesn't always mean permanent ownership. • Identify duplicates and editions: Recognize matching products across providers while preserving differences between editions, formats, packages, and individual purchases. • Track comics and collections: Compare comic series, individual issues, collected editions, and manga volumes to identify owned, missing, overlapping, and partially covered content. • Explore collection contents: Review which issues or volumes are included in an omnibus, trade paperback, or other collection. Compare overlapping collections without treating their contents as separate purchases. • Enrich book information: Optionally look up bibliographic metadata through Open Library or Google Books, including edition and author information. Uncertain results can be reviewed before applying them. • Track your reading: Record book and audiobook progress, organize custom reading orders, and keep reading status separate from ownership. • Manage multiple accounts: Keep separate libraries from different accounts at the same provider while viewing everything together. • Review purchase and access history: Inspect available acquisition evidence, previous imports, ownership corrections, and changes in access status. • Keep track of reminders: Review supported access and entitlement reminders, with optional browser notifications. • Connect with Humble Library and Fanatical Library: Use the companion extensions to check ownership across stores and, with your explicit permission, synchronize supported purchase records locally. • Back up your collection: Export and restore your library, account records, ownership decisions, reading information, and supported collection metadata. • Keep your data under your control: Your library is stored locally in your browser, without requiring a Galactic Hamster account or cloud subscription. CONSERVATIVE OWNERSHIP MATCHING Galactic Library distinguishes product identity from ownership. Two listings may represent the same work, different editions, or separate copies. A title appearing in a library does not necessarily prove that it was purchased permanently. The extension preserves available source evidence and lets you review uncertain relationships rather than automatically treating every similar title as owned. For comics and collected editions, Galactic Library can identify issue and volume coverage while distinguishing complete collections, partial contents, and uncertain matches. PRIVACY AND DATA HANDLING Galactic Library is a local-first extension. It does not operate a cloud library, upload your collection to Galactic Hamster servers, or use advertising or analytics trackers. Financial and purchase information: Galactic Library imports and locally stores supported purchase history, purchase dates, transaction references, and product ownership information to help organize your digital collection. It does not request or store credit card numbers, bank account details, or payment credentials. Some providers expose limited purchase history rather than complete transaction records. Authentication information: Galactic Library uses your existing signed-in browser sessions to import collections from supported providers. Some importers temporarily access website authentication tokens or authenticated request context to retrieve library information. Provider passwords, authentication tokens, and session credentials are not saved in your Galactic Library database or backups, and are not sent to Galactic Hamster servers. Website content: The extension reads supported product listings, library pages, and bibliographic information to build your collection and identify matching products and editions. It does not monitor unrelated browsing activity. Optional book-information lookups send relevant book titles, authors, ISBNs, and supported search information to Open Library or Google Books. Google Books requires a user-supplied API key, stored privately in your browser and sent to Google for authorized requests. Optional synchronization with Humble Library and Fanatical Library exchanges supported purchase information between locally installed browser extensions only after explicit account authorization.
