Overview

Capture the current page, article, selection, or loaded Reddit discussion as structured Markdown.

Save articles, selections, webpages, and loaded Reddit threads as clean, structured Markdown.Print to Markdown turns the page you are reading into a portable .md file. Use it when a screenshot is too limited, Print to PDF is too cumbersome, and copying text by hand destroys the structure of the original page. Choose what to capture: the main article; selected content; a Reddit post; a loaded Reddit discussion; the visible page; or let Smart Capture choose the most suitable mode. The extension preserves useful context alongside the content, including the source URL, title, author, publication and capture dates, capture scope, links, media references, and completeness warnings. Reddit captures retain the discussion structure rather than flattening every comment into one block. Loaded comments are exported with their authors, nesting, timestamps, scores, parent relationships, and permalinks where available. Before saving, you can review and edit the generated Markdown, copy it to the clipboard, or download it directly as a .md file. Built for transparent capture Print to Markdown does not pretend that every page can be captured perfectly. When content may be missing—such as collapsed, paginated, deleted, blocked, or unloaded Reddit comments—the exported document says so. Local by default No account required No cloud conversion service No telemetry No background page collection No text sent to an external model or API The extension reads the current page only after you explicitly ask it to create a capture. Created by Jin Park. Support and Instagram links are available inside the extension for anyone who would like to follow or support the project.
