PDFM8 - Private PDF Tools
Overview
Merge, split, reorder, rotate, extract and compress PDFs entirely offline.
PDFM8 is a complete PDF workspace that runs entirely inside Chrome. Add one or more documents, visually arrange every page, and export the result without uploading sensitive files to a website. Use PDFM8 to: - Merge multiple PDFs and reorder pages visually - Split documents or extract selected pages - Rotate and remove pages with undo support - Compress PDFs with clear quality choices - Make scanned English documents searchable with fully local OCR - Add watermarks, page numbers, text stamps, notes and signature images - Remove document metadata - Unlock PDFs you have the password for - Protect exported PDFs with AES-256 encryption - Optionally restore a workspace from local browser storage Privacy is the product, not a setting. PDFM8 has no accounts, analytics, ads, backend, host permissions, or document uploads. Its PDF, OCR and encryption engines are packaged with the extension and work offline. Balanced and Strong compression flatten pages to images for meaningful size reduction. PDFM8 clearly warns that these modes remove selectable text, links, forms and interactive content. Light compression preserves page content.
