This extension is fully client-side and local-only. All PDF processing runs in the browser using pdf-lib. No login, no backend, no data upload. Testing notes for reviewer: 1. Click extension icon → popup.html opens (drag-drop zone, watermark settings, start button) 2. Suggested test files: - One multi-page PDF (e.g. 3 pages) → expected: auto-detect "Split" - Two single-page PDFs → expected: auto-detect "Merge" - Mix (multi + single) → expected: modal to choose 3. Flow: drop files → click start → result PDFs saved to default download folder 4. downloads permission: only to save output PDFs (saveAs:false, conflictAction:"uniquify"), does NOT read other downloads 5. No account/registration required
