Overview

Convert vector PDF drawings to DXF in your browser. Layers kept, drawings never uploaded. Free account required.

Converting a drawing should not mean handing the file to an unknown server. DrawingFox reads a vector PDF in your browser and saves its geometry as a DXF on your computer. The drawing itself and its filename are never uploaded. WHAT IT CONVERTS • Vector PDFs exported from CAD software • Lines and connected polylines • True arcs and circles, not polygon approximations • Source layer names when the PDF contains layer information • Page size and drawing scale WHAT IT DOES NOT CONVERT Scanned and image-only PDFs are not supported. DrawingFox detects them before conversion and explains why. It does not trace pixels into closed outlines because that output is usually unsuitable for accurate engineering work. Text and dimension labels in a PDF are not recreated as editable CAD text. They may appear as line geometry when the source PDF stores them that way. HOW TO USE IT 1. Sign in with a free Google account. 2. Choose or drop a vector PDF drawing. 3. Select the page you need. 4. Convert and save the DXF. 5. Open the result in software that supports DXF R2007. FREE AND PAID USE The free version includes 3 successful conversions per day. A one-time $29 purchase removes the daily limit. There is no subscription, and free and paid users receive the same DXF quality. Purchases have a 7-day refund window. PRIVACY PDF conversion runs locally in the extension. A free account is required so DrawingFox can recognize your daily allowance and any purchase. Account identifiers and conversion counts are sent to the DrawingFox service; drawing contents and filenames are not.
