The drawing itself and its filename are never uploaded. WHAT IT CONVERTS • Vector PDFs exported from CAD software • Lines and connected polylines • True arcs and circles, not polygon approximations • Source layer names when the PDF contains layer information • Page size and drawing scale WHAT IT DOES NOT CONVERT Scanned and image-only PDFs are not supported. DrawingFox detects them before conversion and explains why. It does not trace pixels into closed outlines because that output is usually unsuitable for accurate engineering work. Text and dimension labels in a PDF are not recreated as editable CAD text. They may appear as line geometry when the source PDF stores them that way. HOW TO USE IT 1.
