Save selected pages from a PDF file
A lightweight Google Chrome extension that allows you to extract and save specific pages or ranges from any PDF file opened in your browser. ## Features - **Page Extraction**: Select specific pages or ranges (e.g., `1, 3-5, 10`). - **Custom Filenames**: Specify a custom name for your new PDF file. - **Fast & Private**: Processing is done entirely in your browser using `pdf-lib`. Your files are never uploaded to any server. - **Support for Local Files**: Works with `file:///` URLs as well as web PDFs. ## Installation 1. Download or clone this repository to your local machine. 2. Open Google Chrome and navigate to `chrome://extensions/`. 3. Enable **Developer mode** using the toggle in the top-right corner. 4. Click **Load unpacked** and select the extension folder. ### Important: Permissions for Local Files If you want to use the extension with PDF files opened from your hard drive (`file:///` URLs): 1. Go to `chrome://extensions/`. 2. Find **PDF Page Saver** and click **Details**. 3. Toggle on **Allow access to file URLs**. ## Usage 1. Open a PDF file in Chrome. 2. Click the **PDF Page Saver** icon in the toolbar. 3. Enter the pages you want to save (e.g., `1-3, 5`). 4. (Optional) Enter a custom filename. 5. Click **Save PDF**.
