Speak fluent internet. Paste, highlight or translate a whole page in one click, privately on-device or with your favorite AI (GPT, Claude, DeepSeek, OpenRouter). Transello - Translate with your favorite AI. Translate whatever you are reading without leaving the page: • Paste text: click the Transello icon and paste. The translation appears automatically, with auto-detected source language, line breaks kept and one-click copy. • Translate a selection: select text, right-click and choose "Translate in Transello". A clean overlay shows the original and the translation. • Instant mini-popup: select a word or phrase and press Ctrl+Q (Control+Q on Mac). A small popup shows the translation right next to it. • Whole page by shortcut: Ctrl+. (Control+. on Mac); press again for the original. The next pages on the same site are translated by themselves until you choose "Show original". You can change the shortcuts. • Translate the whole page: right-click and choose "Translate page with Transello". Links, form fields and layout stay intact, "Show original" restores the page, and translating it again is instant. Private by default • Translation runs locally with Chrome's built-in translator: no account, no API key, no Transello server. • No ads, no analytics, no browsing history collection. Nothing runs in the background. • Nothing is downloaded behind your back: before Chrome fetches a new language model (about 80 MB), Transello asks. Use your favorite AI (optional) • Connect OpenAI, Claude (Anthropic), DeepSeek or OpenRouter with your own key, or sign in with OpenRouter. Pick the model you want. • Your API key is stored only on your device. Your text and key go directly to the provider you chose, only when you ask, and the provider bills you directly. Made for everyone • The interface speaks 12 languages: English, Русский, 中文, हिन्दी, Español, Français, العربية, বাংলা, Português, 日本語, Deutsch, Bahasa Indonesia. • Every language has its own colour, and translations appear with a short "decode" animation (off when your system asks for reduced motion). Requirements and limits • Desktop Chrome 138 or later. The local mode depends on Chrome's built-in language packs; Chrome downloads a pair the first time you use it. Some browsers or devices do not offer Chrome's built-in translator (for example Brave on some systems, Chrome on Windows on ARM); there, use a cloud provider. • Chrome does not allow extensions on some pages (chrome:// pages, the Chrome Web Store, the PDF viewer). On those pages, paste the text into the Transello window. • Transello is free. An optional "Support Transello" link is available in Settings.
