Overview

Open Jira tickets: prefix popup, PROJ-123 keys, omnibox task, shortcut & context menu. Recents + 5 favorites. Jira Cloud/Server.

Open Ticket Jira — open issues quickly by key Did a teammate send you PROJ-123 in chat? Open the Jira issue directly from its key instead of hunting for a tab or building a link by hand. Set your Jira base URL once in Settings, and the extension opens issues on the site your team already uses. It works with Jira Cloud and self-hosted Jira. Open issues your way • From the extension popup. Enter a full issue key, such as PROJ-123, and press Enter. • With just the number. Save your frequently used project prefixes and arrange them in the order you prefer. Select a project in the popup, then type only the issue number. For another project, switch to Full mode and enter the complete key. • From the address bar. Type task, press Tab, enter the issue key, and press Enter. • With a keyboard shortcut. Open the popup with Ctrl+Shift+O, or Cmd+Shift+O on Mac. • From text on a page. Select an issue key and use the context menu to open it in a new tab. If an entered key does not look like a Jira issue key, the extension shows a hint and a link to Jira's project key rules. That helps you spot a typo before trying to open the issue. Return to issues without retyping The History page shows issues you recently visited on your configured Jira site. Choose a list length from 10 to 100 entries. You can also show up to 10 recent issues right in the popup for one-click access. Save up to five favorite links. They can point to issues, a Jira board, a Confluence page, or a dashboard — anything you open regularly. Copy less by hand On an issue page, the extension adds Copy ID and Copy ID + Title buttons. Share an issue key or its key and title with a teammate in a click. Each button can be turned off in Settings. The interface supports light, dark, and system themes. Who it's for Developers, QA, product managers, designers, and anyone who works with keys like PROJ-123. It's especially useful for teams that share issue keys in chats and documents throughout the day. Privacy No separate account is needed. Your Jira base URL, project prefixes, favorites, and preferences stay in local browser storage. The extension has no analytics of its own.
