SteadyChat: AI chat, images and video in your Chrome sidebar Keep your ideas moving without leaving the page you're on. SteadyChat puts AI chat, image generation and video generation in a sidebar right next to whatever you're reading, so you never lose your place. Pick a model, ask a question, or just start making something. You can switch between OpenAI GPT, Claude, Seedream, Seedance and plenty more whenever you like. WHAT YOU CAN DO 💬 Talk things through Ask questions, draft a reply, tighten up a paragraph or build out a story. Choose the chat model you want, try the Midnight persona for AI roleplay, and pick up old conversations any time by signing in to your SteadyChat account. 🎨 Turn ideas into pictures Describe what you have in mind and generate an image from it. Choose your model, then set the format and quality it supports. The Nano Banana models can also create and edit images right inside the chat. 🎬 Turn a prompt into a video Start from text, or add a reference image on models that allow it. Set the duration, resolution and aspect ratio, and see the credit cost before you hit generate. 📄 Ask about the page you're reading Attach a webpage and ask for a summary, an explanation or a translation. You can look over the attachment first and remove it if you change your mind. 📸 Capture part of a page and discuss it Capture part of the page as a screenshot: click "Capture area", drag over what you want to share and review the preview. Ask AI to explain what you see, translate text in the screenshot, generate an image or create a video using it as a reference, with models that support image input. You can also right-click an image and choose "Discuss image in SteadyChat". ✂️ Discuss selected text Capture the text you want to work with: select it and choose "Ask SteadyChat" from the right-click menu. Ask AI to translate it, explain it, or use it as the starting point for an image or video. On sites where you've given access, the selection toolbar also lets you copy, highlight, explain or translate text. Highlights stay until the page reloads. GET STARTED IN THREE STEPS 1. Open SteadyChat from the Chrome toolbar and sign in with Google. 2. Click "Add this page to chat" and check the attachment. 3. Ask away. "What's the main argument?" is an easy first question. PICK THE RIGHT MODEL Choose different AI models for chat, image generation and video creation. Check the model picker for current availability, supported settings and credit costs. Models, prices and settings can change, so check the model picker and generation settings for what's available right now. ABOUT "UNCENSORED" Seedream, Seedance and Wan have options labeled uncensored. That doesn't mean anything goes: each provider still has its own policies and restrictions, and no model is guaranteed to accept every prompt. Midnight is a creative chat persona, not a promise of unfiltered replies. GOOD TO KNOW - You need a SteadyChat account and an internet connection. - Plan limits apply. Some chat and image models need credits, and video generation always uses them. Current prices are shown in the app. - Page access is only requested when needed, and attaching a page never sends a message on its own. - Page capture reads up to 16,000 characters and can miss some content. Restricted Chrome pages and some PDFs aren't supported. - AI can make mistakes, so double-check answers and generated content before you rely on them.
