StudBud

A study coach that instantly breaks down assignments, rewards progress and helps you along the way.

Assignment due, stuck staring at a blank page and have no idea where to start? StudBud gives you the next step. Paste in any assignment and StudBud turns it into a short, ordered list of steps. Work through them one at a time, and you end up with a finished assignment, with no planning required. About the permission prompt Chrome will say StudBud can "read and change all your data on all websites." StudBud runs on every page only so your study buddy can appear wherever you work. It never reads your page content or browsing history, and you can turn it off for any site, or everywhere, from the extension. How StudBud works 1. Paste your assignment: problem set, essay, research paper, lab report, reading response, presentation, or coding task. 2. Answer a question or two if StudBud needs more detail. 3. Follow the steps in order. Check each one off as you finish it. Features - Step-by-step plan: your assignment, split into clear steps. - Stuck? Get help in three levels: a plain-language explanation, then a worked example on a different problem, then smaller steps plus a ready-to-send question for your instructor or TA. - A study buddy avatar who keeps you moving. Ask it what a step means or whether your approach is on track. It is a little sarcastic and never mean. - Progress that feels good: earn XP for each step and watch your avatar grow. What it won't do StudBud explains and guides. It won't write your essay or hand you the answers. You do the work, with a clear path through it. Beta version StudBud is in beta. Daily usage limits apply, and you can join an optional waitlist for unlimited access. Privacy Policy The assignment text and messages you submit are sent to our server and to an AI service (OpenAI) to generate steps and help. StudBud does not read the pages you browse.
