Open DOCX, XLSX, and PPTX links in Layers only after you click the extension or its context-menu command.

Layers Viewer opens DOCX, XLSX and PPTX files from any web page straight in your browser, without downloading them and without installing an office suite. How it works 1. Right-click a link to a .docx, .xlsx or .pptx file and choose "Open in Layers", or click the Layers Viewer button on a page that shows a document. 2. The document opens as a light, fast page in Layers. 3. Read it, fill it in, send it for signature, or save a copy. Privacy The extension does nothing until you click it. It uses only the "activeTab" and "contextMenus" permissions: it sees the link you chose, at the moment you chose it, and nothing else. It does not read your browsing history, your other tabs or your accounts. The chosen file is passed to Layers only to show it to you.
