Enter Lock
Overview
Like Caps Lock, but for Enter. Arm it per site so Enter stops submitting forms or messages, while newlines still work.
Ever fired off a half-written prompt, message, or ticket because Enter submitted before you meant it to? Enter Lock is a per-site lock for the Enter key, like Caps Lock or Scroll Lock. Turn it on for a site and Enter (or Shift+Enter, or Ctrl/Cmd+Enter, whichever you choose) stops submitting forms and chat messages. Newlines still work exactly as expected, so you can keep typing instead of losing your place. How it works: - Click the toolbar icon on any site to see its lock settings. - Toggle Enter, Shift+Enter, and/or Ctrl/Cmd+Enter independently, per site. - A red ON badge shows when a site has any combo locked. - Nothing is locked anywhere until you turn it on for that site. Every other site behaves exactly as it did before you installed this. Privacy: Enter Lock makes no network requests, has no analytics, and loads no remote code. Your settings are stored locally with the browser's own storage API. Full privacy policy: see the Privacy tab / PRIVACY.md in the source repository.
