PayDay Tracker is a manual bill organizer for Chrome. It helps you keep track of what you owe, what you've paid, and what's coming due next — without ever connecting to a bank account or asking for financial login details. **What it does** - Add one-time or recurring bills (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) with optional installment counts and end dates. - Record full or partial payments against any bill, with remaining-balance and overpayment checks. - See paid-today, paid-this-month, and paid-this-year totals at a glance on the dashboard. - Close out fully paid bills into a searchable archive without losing their payment history. - Manage your own categories and payment methods, with safe deactivation instead of destructive deletes. - Filter and export payment reports to CSV by date range, category, payment method, or status. - Get local Chrome notifications before a bill is due, with snooze support — no server, no account required. - Back up and restore your data as a JSON file any time. **Optional Google features (fully opt-in)** - Sign in with Google to back up your tracker data to your own Google Drive appDataFolder (a private, app-only storage space — not your visible Drive files). - Turn on Google Calendar reminders to mirror bill due dates as events on your primary calendar. Both of these are switched off by default. PayDay Tracker works entirely offline with local browser storage if you never sign in. **What PayDay Tracker will never ask for** Full card numbers, CVV, PIN, OTP codes, bank passwords, or any payment-gateway credentials. This is a manual organizer, not a payments product — it does not connect to banks, scrape financial websites, or move money. **Your data** Bill and payment data is stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage. If you enable Google sign-in, only your account email (for display) and the app's own backup file are used — nothing is sold or shared with third parties.
