Lets Pauseidon's play/pause key pause and resume the video and audio in your tabs.

Pauseidon's play/pause key, for the video and audio in your browser tabs. This extension works with Pauseidon, a Mac app (pauseidon.com) that sends your keyboard's play/pause key to the right place. What it does Press play/pause and Pauseidon pauses the video or audio that's playing in a tab, or resumes the one you paused last, even when the browser is in the background. When it isn't obvious what you mean, Pauseidon's chooser lists your tabs with media next to your music apps, with each video's or track's own title, artist or channel, and artwork. Hold Command with the key to resume something and jump straight to its tab. It finds media in embedded players too, and reacts the moment something starts or stops. How to use it 1. Install Pauseidon on your Mac from pauseidon.com, and open it. 2. Add this extension. 3. Press play/pause. Click the extension's toolbar button to see whether it's connected to Pauseidon, open Pauseidon if it isn't running, or jump to a tab with media. Privacy The extension only notices pages that have video or audio. For those tabs it tells the Pauseidon app on your Mac the page's title and address, and whether each video or audio is playing.
