Overview

Save any web page as clean Markdown. One click, no signup, and nothing ever leaves your browser.

Save any web page as a clean Markdown file, in one click. Click the icon and the page you are reading becomes a tidy .md file: the article, without the navigation, the cookie bar, the related-posts rail or the newsletter box. Tables stay tables. Code blocks stay code blocks. Headings stay headings. Every file opens with the details you would otherwise retype by hand: path, title, summary, source URL, and the date you saved it. So six months later, the file still says where it came from. SELECT FIRST, AND IT SAVES ONLY THAT Highlight the two paragraphs that matter, then click. The rest of the page never reaches your file. IT SAVES WHAT THE PAGE IS SHOWING Text the page has hidden with the usual CSS is left out of your file, and so is a section that is still collapsed. If you want the answers under an FAQ, open them first, or select them, and click again. NOTHING LEAVES YOUR BROWSER There is no account, no server, and no analytics. The conversion runs on your own machine, and the text goes into your file or onto your clipboard. Nothing else. The extension asks for three permissions and no more: activeTab, so it can read the one page you clicked on, once. scripting, so it can run the converter inside that page. downloads, so it can hand you the file. It has no permission to read any other page. It never runs in the background. It loads no remote code: the converter and the fonts are bundled in the package. The extension makes no network requests. The converter it bundles is a general-purpose open-source library that is able to fetch extra detail from a handful of sites; this extension disables that explicitly and never calls that part of it. You can see the setting in extract.js. BUILT FOR TEAMS WITH A SHARED MEMORY Patricia is an AI coworker who works inside Slack. She holds your company's memory: your product, your voice, the things your team has decided and read. Feed her a clip and she answers from it instead of guessing. This version saves the file so you can add it to that memory yourself. A later version will offer to send it straight there. WHO IT IS FOR Anyone who keeps notes in Markdown: Obsidian, Notion, a git repo, or a folder. Teams building a shared knowledge base worth searching later. Anyone feeding source material to an AI assistant that reads Markdown. HOW TO USE IT 1. Open the page you want to keep. 2. Optional: select the part you want. 3. Click the Patricia icon. 4. Save as Markdown, or copy it. Free, and it always will be. Learn more about Patricia: https://www.patricia.app Privacy policy: https://www.patricia.app/legal/extension-privacy
