Password Generator is a fast, privacy-first tool that creates cryptographically secure passwords without sending any data to external servers. Everything runs locally in your browser using the Web Crypto API (crypto.getRandomValues), so your passwords are never transmitted, stored, or logged anywhere. Features: • Cryptographically secure — Uses crypto.getRandomValues with rejection sampling to eliminate modulo bias, ensuring true randomness. • Adjustable length — Set your password length from 8 to 64 characters using a slider or by typing directly. • Fine-grained character control — Toggle uppercase (A–Z), lowercase (a–z), numbers (0–9), and symbols independently. • Per-symbol selection — Enable or disable each symbol character individually or toggle them all at once. • Full-width character mode — Optionally convert the password to Unicode full-width characters (e.g. Ａ１) for systems that require them. • Guaranteed character diversity — Every enabled character type is always represented in the generated password. • Strength meter — Real-time entropy calculation (in bits) with a color-coded strength bar: Very Weak, Weak, Fair, Strong, Very Strong. • One-click copy — Copy to clipboard instantly with visual confirmation. • This extension is open source.
