PartyWatch — Watch Together

Synchronized video watching with friends. Chat, talk, react — watch together in perfect sync.

Watch videos in sync with friends, wherever they are. Start a party on the video you're watching, share the invite link, and everyone's playback stays together, with text chat, emoji reactions and voice chat built in. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open a video on a supported streaming site and click the extension icon. 2. Enter your name and click Create Party. 3. Copy the invite link and send it to your friends. 4. Friends paste the link into the Join box in the extension and are taken to the same video. FEATURES • Synced playback: play, pause and seek are shared with the group. If someone drifts, they're brought back to the host's position. • Ad breaks: if someone gets an ad, the group pauses and waits for them. • Host controls: optionally let only the host control playback. • Chat and emoji reactions in a small overlay on the video page. • Voice chat: talk while you watch, or just listen. See who's in voice and mute any time. • One tab per party: jump to the party's tab, or move the party to the tab you're on. • Parties last up to 4 hours, with a countdown and a warning before they end. SUPPORTED SITES Works on popular streaming sites including YouTube, Netflix and JioHotstar. More supported sites are listed in the screenshots. Everyone streams from their own account. The extension doesn't provide, record or share any video. PRIVACY • No sign-up. You pick a display name for each party. • Your display name, chat messages and the link of the video being watched are sent to our server only to run the party, and are kept only while the party is active (up to 4 hours). • Voice goes directly between browsers over encrypted WebRTC. When a direct connection isn't possible, it's relayed through a TURN server, still encrypted. • Details are in the privacy policy linked on this page.
