Supported storefront examples include Repair Clinic, Sears PartsDirect, PartSelect, PartsTree, eReplacementParts, Appliance Parts Pros, Encompass, Jack’s Small Engines, Amazon US, and eBay US. PartScout is primarily focused on US-oriented retailers. ## What You Can Do With PartScout ✅ Start a comparison from supported product or part pages. ✅ Run a manual part-number search from Chrome’s side panel. ✅ Review results grouped by store. ✅ Use sorting and filters to narrow the offers you care about. ✅ Enable or pause individual retailers in Settings. ✅ Return to the source tab when you want to jump back to where you started. ## How It Works 1️⃣ Install PartScout. 2️⃣ Open Settings and enable the retailers you want PartScout to use. 3️⃣ Visit a supported parts retailer page or open the side panel manually. 4️⃣ Search by part number or start a supported compare flow. 5️⃣ Review available offers from enabled stores in one place. 6️⃣ Continue shopping on the retailer site you choose. ## Settings and Site Access PartScout lets you choose which supported retailers it can access. Each retailer may require access to the Chrome site before PartScout can query that site for public listing information. You can enable or pause individual retailers at any time in Settings. PartScout only uses enabled site access for replacement-part comparison flows and related user actions. ## Privacy Transparency PartScout runs as a standard Chrome extension. Its comparison logic is bundled locally with the extension and does not rely on remote executable code. To operate comparisons and improve the product, PartScout may send limited analytics or event data to PartScout’s servers. This may include install/update lifecycle events, extension version, browser family, feature usage such as searches or clicks, and comparison context tied to active user actions, such as product URL, part number, or listed price. PartScout does not collect passwords, account emails, or your Chrome browsing history as a full timeline. Data is limited to supported pages, searches, and actions involved in active PartScout flows. ## What PartScout Does Not Do PartScout does not guarantee the lowest price everywhere. PartScout does not add unrelated functionality, collect passwords, read private account emails, or track your entire browsing history.
