Overview
Submit product pages to Part-DB to quickly create electronic parts from web content.
This Part-DB Browser Extension lets you import electronic components into your Part-DB (https://github.com/Part-DB/Part-DB-server) inventory directly from supplier websites. Simply browse to a component page on any webshop — click the extension icon, and the page is sent to your Part-DB server. Part-DB's built-in info providers parse the page and pre-fill all component details, saving you from tedious manual data entry. The rendered HTML page from your browser is sent, so that it even works with pages, where Part-DB own page retrieval fails. ## Requirements: - A self-hosted Part-DB instance (v1.12+) - An account with permission to use the browser info-provider feature ## Setup Open the extension options, enter the URL of your Part-DB server, and log in to Part-DB in your browser. The extension will then be ready to use on any component page. ## Privacy All data is sent exclusively to your own Part-DB server. No information is shared with the extension developer or any third party. See the full privacy policy for details. ## Source code This extension is free and open-source software, licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.
